Promotional shipping offers apply to the lower US 48 states only excluding Alaska And Hawaii.
All in-stock orders will be processed and shipped usually within 48 hours. Most UPS ground orders (within the continental U.S.) will be received within 5 - 7 business days (excluding Saturdays and Sundays). If for some reason that we have an out of stock, we will notify you via e-mail.
NOTE: If for some reason we ship multiple items and they are being shipped from separate warehouses, You may be charged for expedited shipments at a higher rate than we have listed. We will notify you in advance of shipment by email as to the charge.
We accept Visa and Master Card credit cards.

Shipping costs are based on the value of your total order BEFORE shipping plus any surcharges for expedited shipments, heavy, oversized, or out-of-stock items. Any promotional shipping charges apply to the subtotal before shipping.

The base charge for most shipping is as follows:

NOTE:A $2.00 handling charge may apply to orders under $30.00. NOTE: We reserve the right to charge more or less than what is specified as base charges on occasion if necessary. Some of our items may also specify the shipping for that particular product. That amount may be different than what is specified in our base charges on occasion.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT
Order Cancellations:
Please note that once an order has been placed on our website, the order is processed and it may not be possible to cancel the order. While every effort will be made by us to cancel your order if requested to, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to accomodate your request. If an item has already been shipped and the order is cancelled by you, (after it was shipped),there may be shipping charges applied if the item is refused by you. Also it is our policy to charge a 3% cancellation fee on the total for processing the order and refunding the transaction if we incur costs associated with the canceling of your order because you have decided to cancel. Cancelations can be costly due to credit card provider fees and we reserve the right to charge a cancelation fee.

NOTE: Some of our flags and other items may be sent by USPS or UPS depending on the manufacturer.

Surcharges, ADDED TO THE BASE CHARGE include:
+$19.95 for expedited 3 DAY SELECT
+$5 for ordering out-of-stock items,
+$5.50 for each oversized item.

We reserve the right to not ship certain item as an expedited shipment and you will be notified in advance if expedited shipment is unavailable on your order.
On occasion an expedited shipment can be delayed leaving the warehouse, as much as we try, an expedited shipment may take longer than the expressed time by UPS. In most cases they will arrive in the time specified. We cannot guarantee for the carrier.
OUR POLICY PLEASE READ: While all effort is made to post correct descriptions of merchandise as well as updated photos, occasionally design changes are made by the manufacturers to improve products and on rare occasions, pictures and descriptions of items may be in error. This may be due to the manufacturer not sending us their current pictures for updating. While making every effort to provide up to date information we will not be held responsible for these errors.
We cannot ship to international addresses at this time. Exceptions may be made on specific products at our discretion with all fees and duties the responsibility of the purchaser of the product.
For Alaska, and Hawaii,we are happy to ship via U.S.
Postal Service when available on specific products.

At this time we ship within the United States only.(48 states). Any free shipping offers are for within the US.(Lower 48 only). If shipping to Alaska and Hawaii, extra shipping charges may be added.
All products are priced in U.S. currencyPLEASE NOTE: We are not liable for any losses incurred if the customer has provided any incorrect details for their order. Backyard Bird Watcher also reserves the right to not issue a refund on orders never received due to the incorrect details being provided.

Rules and Regulations on Gift Certificates:
Online Gift Certificates must be redeemed through our Web site, www.backyardbirdwatcher.com.
Online Gift Certificates are not redeemable for cash.
Online gift certificates are good for 1 year from the date of purchase.
If your order exceeds the amount on your Online Gift Certificate you must pay the remaining balance on a valid credit card.
If your Online Gift Certificate exceeds the value of your order you will receive another certificate for the remaining value, no cash returned.
Gift certificates not redeemable for shipping and handling or sales tax (if applicable).
Sorry, we cannot replace lost or stolen online gift certificates.
IMPORTANT NOTE WHEN ORDERING: Enter RECIPIENT of gift certificates email in the SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS area on the checkout page along with the RECIPIENTS name. This is necessary for us to email the gift certificate.
